Amy, Avery and I recently went up to the cabin together as a family. To sum up the weekend in one word would be very easy to do. RELAXING!! We did not do much of anything. We read, played with Avery, ate and generally just sat around. It was wonderful and much needed.
Avery is now not only crawling, but she can sit up from her crawl. But not only that our little superstar girl can pull herself up on stuff which she absolutely loves to do. It’s amazing to see her doing these things so early. She is definitely a strong, strong girl. I’m anticipating that she will be walking much sooner than normal. Which is crazy to think about, but its wonderful to see her grow and learn so many new things.
It rained most of the weekend so that also assisted us along in doing nothing. Usually we spend a lot of time out by the camp fire, but this time not so much since it was rainy and muggy when it wasn’t raining. Rain or no rain the cabin is always a wonderful, wonderful time.
And what would a cabin trip be without doing some good old fashioned charcoal grilling?!! On Saturday night we had some steaks and on Sunday we had hamburgers. The burgers were delicious, but the steaks were so so. They were organic grass beef and the fat has more omega 3’s in them so it tends to taste a bit fishy. Its really, really good for us, but the flavor was not what we were used to. We also did my famous corn on the grill. If you want the recipe here it is. Simply take the corn run it under water and put it on the grill. It’s GREAT stuff and very easy to do. The water in it helps it steam as well it keeps the husks from burning.

The newest thing in mlm prospecting is to generate leads without having to call them. I want to say from the start that this is a dumb idea. To succeed in network marketing you cannot hide behind your compture. You absolutely need to create a relationship with your prospects and downline.
Without having a relationship it is SO easy for prospects to join one day and leave the business the next. If you have created a good relationship they will be much less likely to leave company.
The mlm prospecting system I suggest using works like this.
call those leads and take them through a process. Interview. Quality prospects get to hear the presentation. Sign them up.
If they do not sign up gradually drip on them through an autoresponder system. Position yourself as a leader, answer objections, give updates and share success stories.
Remember mlm prospecting is a skill that is learned over time. Give yourself 6 to 12 months to get highly skilled at it, the better you get the more posture you will create and the greater your opportunity for success is.
We have discussed using Craigslist in the past and I wanted to give some updates. It is more difficult now to get multiple ads posted on Craigslist than it was in the past. Now you have to have an account set up and it won’t let you post more than 3 times a day.
What is the solution? You can set up multiple accounts. They will need to verify your phone number so you can use your cell, office and home phone. I would recommend doing these following things to protect yourself from getting your posts ghosted.
Post 3 times a day, make sure your Craigslist posts are very much different each time. Use different computers if possible. Always use a solid call to action in the details area with your url.
The reason I like Craigslist so much is that it allows you to post in your area and generate fresh responsive leads that are linked directly to you and not purchased through some lead company that sells them off to a few other people.

When we first get into the business we are very excited about building our income stream. My reason for getting involved in a home business is that I want to have the financial and time freedom to be involved in overseas missions and to be able to spend more time with my family at home or our cabin rather than be owned by a job. The WHY is different for every person, but make sure that you have one and make sure to know that a DIP is coming that will cause you to want to give up. It’s those who can push through the DIP that will have their dreams (their WHY) fulfilled.
