We have discussed using Craigslist in the past and I wanted to give some updates. It is more difficult now to get multiple ads posted on Craigslist than it was in the past. Now you have to have an account set up and it won’t let you post more than 3 times a day.

What is the solution? You can set up multiple accounts. They will need to verify your phone number so you can use your cell, office and home phone. I would recommend doing these following things to protect yourself from getting your posts ghosted.

Post 3 times a day, make sure your Craigslist posts are very much different each time. Use different computers if possible. Always use a solid call to action in the details area with your url.

The reason I like Craigslist so much is that it allows you to post in your area and generate fresh responsive leads that are linked directly to you and not purchased through some lead company that sells them off to a few other people.

A great way to get very quick search engine results is to post ads on Craigslist.

Many times you can have a hit on the search engine the very next day!

You are going to want to post several ads everyday on craigslist and you will NEED to make sure these ads are each different. Then after the ads expire you can repost the same ones in a rotating order.

Here are some rules to follow for craigslist ads.

1. make sure the keywords you want people to search on for your company are in the title

2. make sure that you include your website address with a call to action like In order to learn how to….go to yourwebsite.com

3. Give a descriptive sentance in the ad and provide a few bullet points.

I would also recommend you post without signing in to Craigslist and post them under small business ads and you can post all over the country or the world depending on the reach of your company.

Make sure to add a tracking link within the craigslist ads so you know which ads get you the best results.
