There are many different target markets when it comes to marketing your primary network marketing company. Eventually you want to target each and every market with a unique capture page for each of them.
The first market that I tend to target is for people who are actively searching for my company. These are hot leads because they are either looking for a website to sign up at or they are looking for the right team to join or are simply looking for free information on the company and how to build the business. A great way to capture their attention is to do an audio or video interview with a top leader in your company asking them about their secrets to success. Here is an example of a capture page that I am using for my primary company Xango.
What you are doing here is offering them a solution to their problem. They are looking for information about your opportunity and you are providing that in a unique way. You get their info and follow up with them with your auto-responder and give them a quick call using the techniques in Black Belt Recruiting and build your pipeline that way.
The second target market you can approach is people looking to make money from home. This is not as good of a market as those looking for your specific opportunity, but they are still good prospects to approach. You will want to have a generic capture page for them to opt in to.
The third target market to approach is other network marketers. This target market is more difficult to approach and it is a long term strategy. You probably won’t start sponsoring people immediately using this method, but you want to build relationships with them and build your pipeline with them by presenting yourself as a leader with information that they need. You can use this method by using a affiliate program like Magnetic Sponsoring. This is a great method because you can also make money while you are generating leads.
The fourth target market is product users. The best way to find product users is by targeting a specific illness that that person is dealing with. For instance if your product has helped others with arthritis. In a generic way you can present a capture page that says “6 ways to help arthritis” and allow them to opt in to a free report of some kind which sells your product as a solution.
You can use Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and also free marketing techniques as outlined in Building On A Budget. You will want to get to the place that you are generating a minimum of 20 leads per day using these techniques and calling them so that after a month you are building so much momentum you’ll need to get your team involved in contacting the leads, etc.
