Social Networking is a huge, huge asset when it comes to generating free leads. ‘
How so?
The search engines favor the social networking sites at this time. The only investment you have to make is time and you can’t go out there trying to sell your product to them. You need to offer a service to help and assist people. The folks in social marketing do not tolerate being pitched on a product, but they love FREE help (and so do the search engines).
With that said, go set up a Facebook and MySpace site. Search for some friends on it and do your best to get several hundred of them as you look. You aren’t going to want to pitch them or spam them on your company or product.
Just get to know them and be a service to them in any way you can. When the opportunity comes that they ask you what you do don’t hesitate to let them know, but don’t pitch them on it. Just tell them about what you are doing, show them your website. You can even post a link to your blog or website that gives them an opportunity to go over to your website that you ultimately want to get them to.
You want to be as discreet as possible.
Post some videos that are offering a service to network marketers. Present yourself as an expert that has something to offer to people and not as someone that is trying to SELL.
You have to be willing to give first before you can receive.
