My 4 month old daughters name means “noble.” I’m sure she will be a noble girl. I love that word, its one that we use rarely in our culture now. We like cool, awesome and all that garbage. I love noble. It means “Possessing eminence, elevation, dignity.” We need more of that in our culture. My prayer is that I will live my life in a noble way that is an example to my daughter Avery, the noble one. She needs her father to be an example of what it means to be honorable, have integrity and live a life that is noble in honoring God.
I will be doing all within my power to live that way. As the old saying goes, the measure of a man is not in how big his muscles are but in the bags that are in his trousers showing how much he has been on his knees in prayer. The path to living a life of character is prayer to an Almighty God.
