My Thoughts and Life Experiences.
I just came across this blog post by Tim Erway…most famous for his involvement in the creation of the runaway success MLM Traffic Formula.
Tim writes, “Is the squeeze page method dead?
How can I get around the “Google Slap” with my pay per click campaigns?
When, where and how should I use a squeeze page?
Contrary to what you may have heard, the squeeze page method is far from dead, and I encourage you to read on before you take your squeeze pages down simply because you read a report telling you otherwise.
That being said, there are circumstances where a squeeze page should NOT be the first step in the sales process, and there are some products and/or markets where a squeeze pages shouldn’t be used at all. Remember, before taking anyone’s advice as gospel (including mine), always test for yourself.”
This is something that I have not put a lot of thought into and that I am going to look into doing some tests on my own as well. Take a look at what Tim wrote in this blog post.
There is a subtle difference to what Tim is advocating here and what we are used to traditionally. The type of squeeze page he is advocating really provides a snippet of solid content and then for prospects to get the full story they actually have to put in their information. I think it is a great concept because the search engines are hungry for content and so are the searchers.
Enjoy!

A press release is a fantastic way to get the word out about your company and/or product. Many have used this to generate 80 leads in less than 1 hour of work.
Here are some criteria to meet with your press release.
- It shouldn’t be blatant promotion or advertising of your product.
- It should be newsworthy information.
- Make it time sensitive.
- Include a link to your site, preferrably a tracking link so you know where your traffic is coming from.
Here is an example of a press release I recently wrote. Xango Success Secrets Revealed
The site that seems to be getting the highest ranking these days as far as the search engines go (based on the personal research I have done) is Free Press Release. You can post press releases for free or you can place a bid to have them ranked high on their home page.
Enjoy!

Many people don’t know this, but you can make a substantial income from simply owning and running a blog. In fact there are people that make 5 figures or more every month from their blog!
Here are two ways a blog can make money for you.
1. affiliate commissions - related info to your blog with links posted within your page and articles written on them
2. google adsense - it will take some significant traffic for you to be able to generate income from adsense, but it is more than possible for it to be done.
If you have a blog that provides solid, up to date information for readers the search engines absolutely love them and will bring traffic to you. It will take time and well written blogs, but if you stick with it you can generate a very good following that will in time generate significant income for you and your home business.

The newest thing in mlm prospecting is to generate leads without having to call them. I want to say from the start that this is a dumb idea. To succeed in network marketing you cannot hide behind your compture. You absolutely need to create a relationship with your prospects and downline.
Without having a relationship it is SO easy for prospects to join one day and leave the business the next. If you have created a good relationship they will be much less likely to leave company.
The mlm prospecting system I suggest using works like this.
- generate 20-30 leads everyday using various methods
- call those leads and take them through a process. Interview. Quality prospects get to hear the presentation. Sign them up.
- If they do not sign up gradually drip on them through an autoresponder system. Position yourself as a leader, answer objections, give updates and share success stories.
Remember mlm prospecting is a skill that is learned over time. Give yourself 6 to 12 months to get highly skilled at it, the better you get the more posture you will create and the greater your opportunity for success is.

Are you looking for a silver bullet? A magic formula to build your business so no one quits and everyone duplicates? Well…
The reality is there is no magic bullet! It takes work, dedication, difficulties and trials if you want to make it in this industry. Most people don’t have the patience and the desire to acquire the skills it takes to become successful. They get involved because they think they can win the lottery by signing up that amazing networker. There will be times when you want to quit…where you wonder why on earth you are doing what you are doing…where you wonder if you are wasting your time…
However…the leaders in this industry constantly push through those difficult times and succeed. There is no other kind of small business where you can risk so little to gain so much. Most other small business owners have to risk their homes, financial future and their sacred honor to just start their business. In network marketing you don’t have to do that and the financial gain can easily outdo a small business owners. The problem is people quit so easily because they haven’t risked everything.
Always remember your dreams and that anyone who has achieved a goal had to struggle through difficulties to make it. So do you have what it takes to succeed in this industry or are you one of the 95% who does not succeed and accomplish what they set out to? Are you a quitter or will you work hard and push through the times you feel like quitting??
